Supporting Our Valued Partners Who Make a Positive Impact in Our Communities

Citizens Business Bank (the “Bank”) announced today that the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco has agreed to match the Bank’s $50,000 donation to Union Station Homeless Services. The funds will be used to provide wildfire disaster relief to communities in Los Angeles County.

In response to the wildfires that devastated portions of Southern California in January 2025, the Bank pledged $200,000 in immediate financial support to four local community organizations. The Pasadena-based Union Station Homeless Services received $50,000 from the Bank in support of their Eaton Fire Relief efforts in Altadena, Pasadena, and surrounding communities. The donations have helped provide relief to individuals, families, and businesses impacted by the fires.

Citizens Business Bank applied to the Disaster Relief Matching Contribution Program and was able to secure an additional $50,000 in matching funds to Union Station Homeless Services from the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco. Overall, this represents one quarter of a million dollars going back into local communities for disaster relief.

“We want to remind our communities that we will get through this together,” said David Brager, President and Chief Executive Officer of Citizens Business Bank. “These donations are supporting local families and businesses that can use the help right now.”
