Citizens Business Bank’s Short Message Service (SMS) Terms and Conditions
Please review these SMS Terms and Conditions carefully. By enrolling or agreeing to receive text messages from or on behalf of Citizens Business Bank (“the Bank”), or by otherwise providing your phone number to the Bank, you agree to these SMS Terms and Conditions, as well as the Bank’s Online/Mobile Banking App Privacy Policy.
Further, by enrolling or agreeing to receive text messages from or on behalf of the Bank, or by otherwise providing your mobile phone number to the Bank, you acknowledge that the Bank may obtain data including, but not limited to, your mobile phone number, your carrier’s name, and the date, time, and content of your messages and any other information that you may provide. The Bank may use this information to contact you to provide any services you may request from us, and to operate and improve our services to you. Please note, however, that we do reserve the right to disclose any information as necessary to comply with any law, regulation, or governmental inquiry. You hereby represent that you are the owner or authorized user or subscriber of the phone number and wireless device that you are using to receive text messages from or on behalf of the Bank. You may receive text messages when you apply for, or attempt to use, a Bank product or service, as applicable, or when you contact the Bank.
If you receive a message asking you to provide or confirm personal details or confidential information, DO NOT REPLY. We would request that you immediately report such message to your Citizens Business Bank Business Financial Center or by contacting the Bank’s Customer Service Line at 888.228.2265.
Please note that the Bank does not charge for text messages. You will, however, be subject to standard messaging and data fees from your carrier, as applicable, according to your mobile messaging plan. Please refer to your plan details for more information.
Message frequency to you may vary. The Bank will not be liable for any delays or failures in your receipt of any text messages as delivery is subject to effective transmissions from your network operator and processing by your mobile device. You acknowledge that text message services are provided by your network operator on an “AS IS, AS AVAILABLE” basis.
Please note that the Bank may alter these SMS Terms and Conditions from time to time and reserves the right to do so. We may suspend or terminate text message services to you if we believe you are in breach of our SMS Terms and Conditions. Text message services are also subject to termination in the event your wireless service terminates or lapses. We may also discontinue text message services at any time.
To discontinue receiving SMS messages from the Bank, please reply to the SMS message with STOP.
