Jane Olvera Majors

Director

Jane Olvera Majors was appointed as a director of CVB Financial Corp. and Citizens Business Bank effective February 10, 2021. Ms. Olvera Majors is an experienced advertising, marketing, and public relations professional who has self-started four businesses and two non-profits. In 1994, Ms. Olvera Majors founded JP Marketing, and serves as President of her region-leading advertising agency based in Fresno, California that has been named Best Advertising Agency every year since 2014. She provides clients with competitive insights and tactical communication plans and implementation, particularly for challenging or vulnerable populations. She is also a founding partner of Windsong Productions, a video production company, and TMD Innovations, a start-up incubator. Ms. Olvera Majors has a B.A. in Speech Communication and a pending thesis for an M.A. in Organizational Communication from California State University, Fresno. Her numerous professional awards include “Silver Award for Industry Contributions” by The Advertising Federation and “Torch Award for Ethics” by The Better Business Bureau. Ms. Olvera Majors is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the Fresno State Bulldogs Alumni Association, and is former Chair of the Institute for Family Business and former Vice Chair of Valley PBS.

Ms. Olvera’s qualifications to sit on our Board include her extensive experience in providing brand guidance, messaging research and development, sales advice, multi-platform media strategies, and diversity, equity, and inclusion sensitive marketing strategies to a wide variety of organizations to help accelerate their growth and expansion. She also has strong connections with the business community in the Central Valley of California, which is a key region for Citizens Business Bank.
